hello. the Polytechnic University of the Philippines is currently working on its first coffee table book of the recently held Gat Apolinario Mabini Awards where Mr. Angel Cacnio was one of the awardees in the field of Literature, Culture and the Arts. In connection with this, may we please request for your permission to use the following photos of the paintings:
1. “Capture of Apolinario Mabini” by Mr. Angel Cacnio
2. “Meeting of Apolinario Mabini and Emilio Aguinaldo” by Mr. Alejandro Cortez
3. “Sublime Paralytic Crosses a River” by Mr. Rudy Herrera
The said photos will be included in the Coffee Table Book which will be launched this year. We promise to properly document the source of the photos.
Thank you very much and hoping for your positive reply.
Dear Christine, you may use the photos, but I suggest you contact the Shrine administration. They would know better about copyrights on these paintings.
