Yes, we said we’re not fond of Valentines Day, but that doesn’t mean we hate Valentines. Our first meeting originally fell on February 14. We decided to move our date because we realized it’s Valentines Day, and we don’t celebrate Valentines. Don’t get us wrong, though. We believe in romance. We believe in love. Incidentally, this lovely photo of lovers and sunset was captured in Peninsula de Punta Fuego by Fr. Jboy Gonzales (check his Instagram account, @jboygonzalessj, for more photos), a Jesuit. A Jesuit solemnized our marriage and baptized our children. A Jesuit blessed our offices. Love ’em, Jesuits. Click the photo to enlarge. Kapit lang! Click the photo to enlarge. Continue reading Kapit Lang, Bes, Malapit na Matapos ang Valentines: Photo of the Day

We’ve always wondered by the festival is scheduled every Valentines Day because, truth be told, we find nothing romantic with hot air balloons. Beautiful and graceful, yes, but romantic? What do you think? Click the photo to enlarge: Continue reading Photo of the Day: Hot Air Balloon
Have a Cheesy Valentines Day!
Yes, we in the Philipines celebrate Valentines Day, just like all the cheesy hearts in the world. There’s the usual romantic dinner dates and trip to that quiet place, with Valentines as an excuse. Romantic messages clog cellphone networks and flood the internet. Let’s clog the internet some more. Continue reading Have a Cheesy Valentines Day!
