We attended the 20th Philippine Travel Mart, the flagship project of the PHILTOA. If only it’s possible to bring together all the beautiful places in one venue, then it would be perfect. But nothing is perfect in life and the most we could do, just like in the PTM, is to bring together all the travel-related Philippine sites so traveling would be more fun.

In the past months, a number of queries reached us, asking how they could submit articles/photos about destinations or other subjects. We cannot accommodate this effectively in the main blog. Many are also asking how they could get featured in the main blog. We explained that it’s not about the fees, as all the features are made for free. It cannot be scheduled, because we prefer going to a destination or buying food on our leisurely pace. The main blog, after all, is a hobby. We go whenever we want and we write whenever we feel like it.

The solution? Create a separate hub where members of the community could submit articles and add entries in the Directory. You could do both right now.

What is the VisiPinas.com Directory?

This is a Directory that should contain all the relevant information about resorts, hotels, food, transportation and other travel-related information.

How can I add new entries in the Directory?

You have to be registered to add new entries. The rest of the process is relatively easy — just click the Add Entry link at the Directory and fill out the requested information. Some details are required and some are optional. We suggest you fill out all the information, including the optional. The purpose of being listed in a Directory is for people to find your business. It makes no sense hiding information. Since this is intended to be user-generated, please make sure to include all useful information. Use the standard format and don’t include special formatting. We reserve the right to remove any entry for valid reasons.
