Charice Pempengco: Filipino Pride

Charice Pempengco. You’ve probably heard of her by now. And her powerful voice. She’s another Filipina, taking the same path as Lea Salonga, who is making waves abroad, particularly in Hollywood. Oprah, yes, THE Oprah Winfrey, called her “the most talented girl in the world.

Charice is featured in the second season of Glee, the award winning musical comedy loved by many. There’s no need for an extended description — just look at this clip and listen to the powerful voice of Charice Pempengco (somebody asked how that petite body could house such a huge voice). The Glee clip is found at the bottom, but first look at this earlier clip of Charice singing in Italy. Bravo!

We could very well post travel logs in our own sites. Still, with a sense of community, promoting travel to and in our country is much easier and more meaningful. It is not a perfect country and we are far from being a perfect people. Our imperfections, however, should not hinder us from being thankful of — and enjoying — the perfect beauty loaned to us by a Higher Being. Feel free to link or point to this site. Who we are.
