Amana opened its gates in 2009, but there there’s so much room for improvement for this place (let’s just leave it at that), though I didn’t mind the narrow, not-so-smooth road going to the resort — I always consider the journey part of the adventure in going places. A staff informed us that there was a school field trip scheduled that day and that they would turn the wave generator on once they arrived.
