Prison Cell of Jose Rizal
At the right wall of the Contemplation Room is the entrance to a model of Jose Rizal’s detention cell at Fort Santiago, with a representation of Rizal sitting on a desk. The location marker reads: “In this cell Jose Rizal was detained prisoner from 3 November to the morning of 29 December 1896 falsely charged with rebellion, sedition and formation of illegal societies.” Rate (above) and review (below) this entry.
